How to Sharpen
Your Seki Knife

Your included sharpener is designed specifically for Seki-made blades. Follow these simple steps to restore a razor-sharp edge in under a minute.

Step-by-Step

Three Steps to a Perfect Edge

01

Place the Sharpener on a Flat Surface

Set the sharpener on a stable, non-slip surface. The rubber base prevents movement during use. Make sure it’s placed away from the edge of the counter.

02

Pull the Knife Through the Slots

Insert the heel of the blade into the Coarse slot (marked “1”). Apply gentle downward pressure and pull the knife smoothly toward you. Repeat 3–4 times. Then move to the Fine slot (marked “2”) and repeat 2–3 times for a polished finish.

03

Rinse and Dry

Rinse the blade under cold water to remove any fine metal particles. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Your knife is now razor-sharp and ready to use.

⚠️ Important Tips

  • Always pull the knife toward you — never push it through the slot.
  • Do not press too hard. Let the sharpener’s abrasive do the work.
  • Sharpen every 2–4 weeks for regular home use, or whenever the blade feels dull.
  • Do not use this sharpener on serrated knives or single-bevel blades.
  • Keep the sharpener dry. Do not soak or put in the dishwasher.
